Individual therapy can be helpful in many ways! The therapy journey allows individuals to develop healthier insights, improve relationships, grow self-esteem, and implement skills to help manage negative emotions and behaviors.
Individual therapy is so helpful for so many people because it’s the best way to get truly customized therapy. We enjoy working with individuals to create unique goals that are tailored to you.
Therapy appointments last approximately 50 minutes. During your initial appointment, your therapist will ask a wide range of questions to help them understand you. These questions often range from what brought you into therapy, medical history, family history, and what are possible goals for therapy. This first appointment is important to help begin to develop the therapeutic relationship, and for the therapist to understand what tools to best help you.
