Evaluations for intended parents, donor candidates and surrogate candidates
Infertility can take a psychological toll on both women and men. Struggling to welcome a child into your life is heartbreaking. We understand these struggles both women and men go through.
In addition to individual therapy to help reduce stress levels due to infertility and adoption, we provide psychological evaluations that are ordered by your physician and/or adoption center. During these evaluations, clinical interviews and sometimes psychological screening tools will be conducted. During a surrogate/gestational carrier evaluation, separate evaluations for the intended parents and the surrogate are conducted. A written report and recommendations will be provided to your clinic or agency.
Throughout each stage of the evaluation process, we will make sure that you understand the process and we are here to answer any questions you may have.
